On average, how many hours do you sleep per night?

Nowadays I’m getting at least 8-9 hours of sleep every night.

Lucky seniors.

7 hours and 45 minutes, with a standard deviation of 50 minutes. Taking stats has compelled me to track my sleep for the fun of it, and I’ve noticed a disturbing downwards trend lately. And then there was the night that I was sick and got 11 hours of sleep, which really distorted the average.

Senior. 7-9. Accepted. No homework. Ever.

I usually come home around 1/2 on weekends and sleep in depending on my work schedule. I usually go to bed on weekdays around 10:30 and wake up at 5:30 for school.

Sophomore: 6-7 hours, sometimes less depending on extreme conditions. I have a poopload of homework from my honors program, track and field, various clubs, and the play. I don’t mind it that much, though, because I like being busy. Next year with the IB Diploma, though, is going to be HELL!

Junior. Not too many AP’s (3 of them).
7-8 hrs on weekday, 8-9 on weekend.

7 hours, 7 days a week as a Junior taking two IBs and one AP.

The only problem is that once I get into a sleep pattern I have to stick with it for a while as to not get bombarded with severe migraine attacks. Takes some serious time management, which I’m seriously lacking. Hence the average of 7 hours. Sucks on the weekends.

7.5 hours… Usually. I’m a freshman. A lotta juniors at my school take tons of APs and are one the tennis team and many other extracurriculars. One of them told me that during tennis season she gets 3-4 hours of sleep a night. She seemed to survive on coffee :frowning: What if that’s me in junior year?

9 hours- this is with fencing everyday, all honors and 2 AP’s, model UN and multiple jobs. Yet somehow I still find time to watch frozen planet. LOL. I am a sophomore
