single, double, triple??

so, i have a question. I think I am going to choose Broward/Jellings (sorry if spelling is wrong) as my choices for the UF. These are probably the most "social/party" halls (according to what I have read), and I want to get to know as many people as I can on freshman year. but, are single rooms in the single floor as all other rooms? or are they isolated? would picking a single room be a disadvantage for me? what do you recommend I choose? or maybe single rooms are not available for freshman :S.. any info appreciated :)

You probably wouldn’t get a single room as a freshman. I’m a freshman at UF and the only people I know in singles are antisocial upperclassmen - a broad generalization, I know, but it’s the norm.

There are like 4 or 5 singles in Broward and I cant think of any singles in Jennings. Its very unlikely you will get a single in those dorms, if you request it. Most likely you will get a double or a triple (temp or permanent), if you have a late* priority date.

*They haven’t release what is considered early or late yet.

so… should I choose double as first option and triple as second one? I have to submit my application by march 4th :s

What is your priority date?

I would put the dorm as my top preference and then room style as my second. For room style, I would put double first and you can put single. A triple is like the default option when they run out of doubles and and singles in Broward/Jennings. If you were considering Murphree or the like, then I would put suite for 2 as my top room preference.
