So, I had an on-campus interview over the summer, and it went really well. What I want to know, now that I've submitted my application, is whether an on-campus interview pushes back the notification date of an alumni interview. The alum interview is pretty much required, I know, but will my on-campus one affect the time that I can do the next one?

No, as each alum interview is set up by the Schools and Scholarships Committee in your area -- it is not centralized by the Admissions Office here in Cambridge.

I did not know that H had on-campus interviews? Who was the interview with? A student? An Adcom?

Is it like Columbia where legacy students are given on-campus interviews?

No, I am not a legacy. I was there for the SSP (thank you fin aid!), and was interviewed at the Office by what I'm assuming was a member of the staff.

I did the same at SSP!
