On-line freshman registration available?

My S wasn’t able to get registered for an orientation date until mid July.

  1. Will later registration create a problem with obtaining classes?
  2. Can he register for class on-line before orientation and fine-tune if necessary at the orientation session?
  3. Is it possible to get on a wait list for orientation dates?

I plan to call the university tomorrow, but I have a potential schedule conflict (time-sensitive) and I’m trying to figure out our options.

  2. No, there is a hold on his account until he goes through orientation.
  3. Call the orientation office, not the admissions office.

Thanks @TransferGopher - yes, I will call the number on the bottom of the orientation confirmation. I mainly want to get an earlier date because it is better for our schedule.
