So I’m a rising junior reaching for the Ivies and similar colleges which I know is not very likely, so my main goal is in state schools such as UMich Ann Arbor and Michigan State. I plan on going into STEM and branching off into med. I do have a passion for social justice issues though. I wanted to know if I am on track or slightly off. Criticism is wanted along with advice.
GPA: 4.0 uw 4.666 weighted (idk what weight would be on a 4.0 scale because my school does a 4.333)
Extracurriculars (in no particular order):
- JV Tennis (will most definitely be varsity by senior year, junior year will be my second season)
- FRC Robotics (Media/Logistics co-manager as I am in charge of the business aspect of the team)
- NHS - I know this does not really matter, but I am trying to se if I can implement changes in my NHS as I do not really like the activities we do now
HIGH POSSIBILITY:
- Awake Club - They talk about social justice issues
- Working with a non-profit organization that works o awareness for social justice issues, and possibly becoming an intern
Is this not enough for my application or does not speak much about my character?
