On the wrong track? Lots of experience in too many fields?

I am a rising Junior at a decent school, and I have spent the last two years getting a feel for several different fields of work. While I came to college as a Poli Sci major, I am now double majoring in International Service and Economics.

I know I have the drive and dedication to pursue a job in Finance/Business, but I am having trouble getting my foot in the door at any top tier institutions. I know that for me it is just a matter of getting in the door for an interview, because that is the strongest part of any of my applications and always has been. I think the main reason for my having problems getting into some of the big name internships is my GPA (3.2 after some poor scheduling freshman year, but increasing every semester). However, my work ethic is awesome, and I have a lot of previous employers who can attest to that.

So far I have had internships at a small international human rights non-profit in London, England. Then, I worked a semester at a larger non-profit focusing in international development in DC. Now I am spending the summer working for the IRS International Department.

I realize these don't seem to go together very well at all but my experiences have been good and my recommendations are excellent. Can anyone give me any tips? Where do I go next? How do I make these look remotely finance related on a resume?

Heeeeeelp...

define "decent" school. generally you're going to need a 3.5 from a very good school to get a decent finance internship interview. Think of it this way, there are plenty of people with your work ethic, good recs, and a much higher GPA and better school...There are very limited spots and a very high demand. Your only real hope is to network.
