<p>Just finished the FAFSA and wanted to know if I need to do anything on the UT side to either let them know or provide the filing number etc. I knew it had to be done by March 1, 2011 for the Top 10% grant and wanted to get it in there.</p>
<p>We did ours the first few days it was available. Took awhile for UT to upload it because we were so early. As long as you named them as one of your schools, they are supposed to receive it in a few working days. We confirmed it by going into status check, scrolling down to the financial aid section and clicking on the link there. </p>

<p>Has UT applied any FA to your son’s account or do you think that comes much later? Are you guys going to VIP weekend?</p>
<p>Hi, he won’t any FA from UT. Our EFC is over the cost of attendance. We simply saved too much for his education. Not expecting any scholarships from UT either, but I believe in giving it a try and hoping for the best. He is applying for local scholarships. He’d be thrilled with anything he gets. Matter of fact he’s working on a couple right now. </p>
