One bad grade senior year first marking period. How bad is it?

I've been a straight A student my entire high school except receiving one B+ one semester of junior year for APUSH. However, this year I am only taking ApP classes. I have either an A/A- in all of them except AP Human Geography. As of right now, I have a C+ in that class. I sent her an email because I am really worried. How bad is this one marking period grade going to affect my college admissions?

it’s a b+. relax, that isnt even bad.

Don’t schools only receive you final grades? I know our school only sends those. Ofc, we are on a block schedule so that means that final grades=grades each semester.

It won’t matter nearly as much as junior year. Your school will send a midyear report which includes your grades in the first half of the year, but not much weight is placed on it. If you’re on the borderline, it will be looked at, otherwise, as long as you take the opportunity to bring the grade back up, you shouldn’t fret over it too much.

Pull it up to a B/B- and no one will even give it a second thought.
