I am currently a freshman at Baylor university, and I recently got a C on my Bio Lab exam. I am really depressed because I am afraid this will ruin my premed career. If things all go as expected, I will maintain an overall 3.6 gpa. However, the science gpa will only be a 3.375.
I am really stressed about this bio lab grade bringing down my chances for medical school. Any advice on how it will affect my career?
Thanks

You’re over-reacting. What grade will you get for the SEMESTER in that lab class? How many credits is this lab?

And I see that you haven’t yet changed that screenname. hmmmm

I got a C in the bio lab for the semester. The lab is only one credit.
Sorry for the screen name. I just got in today. I’ll change it soon

A one credit class with a C is unlikely going to have that much affect overall once you’re applying. What is your major? Are you only taking the minimum number of BCMP classes? If so, add another one or two BCMP classes that you know you’ll get A’s in to further diminish that C.
