How good are your recommendations?

It’s UCB, there are no reccomendations.
But if I am asked to submit them, I’ pretty sure my recs would cement my place. There are probably the best recs ever written :stuck_out_tongue: My teachers and counselor have put immense effort and detail in them

Oh come on. Not even one chance?

It’s kind of hard to chance applicants for competitive schools like Berkeley, especially for international kids. I means it sounds like you’re an impressive candidate who has done a lot, so all you can really do is hope for the best and be proud of what you have so far accomplished.

I know that was lame and generic but it’s the truth.

Like Kasami said it’s generally hard to chance for top schools like Berkeley especially given that you’re international.
Read this link for more info on Berkeley’s averages. http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/campuses/berkeley/freshman-profile/
I’d say you have a higher then average chance to get in (avg is 17%) maybe around 20 -25 % chance but with so many kids with high grades you’re just a bit higher then an average canidate.

Bump?

I got in  Thank you everyone for your help!
