One more Application question: "extracurricular activties" and "Community Service"

<p>One more question: Under the "extracurricular activties" and "Community Service" sections, how in the world are you suppose to list the amount of hours you contributed and volunteered each week? Some groups meet once a month after school, etc. so it looks pretty ridiculous listing one hour in the application! </p>

<p>Any suggestions on a effective description of one's extracurricular activties and Community Service?! I know you can creatively descrive the activity, BUT - the application specifically asks for the amount of hours each week.</p>

<p>You should be logging in more hours than your just weekly or monthly meetings for your clubs. If all you're doing is showing up for the meetings, then it's probably not worthwhile to mention it. </p>

<p>As for putting in the amount of hours you contributed each week, just take the total hours you spent on the project for the whole term that project existed and divided by the number of weeks in that term (i.e the average, that's what they're probably looking for).</p>
