One of the best business schools in PA?

Would anyone say Lehigh is one of the better business schools in PA? Anything better than Lehigh besides Penn or Carnegie Mellon?

Well there's always penn state...I don't think Pitt is bad either but definitely not as good...but that's about it so i'd say a yes?

Probably in the top 10 in terms of reputation for business among PA undergrad programs. .

What about Bucknell and Villanova? How do they stack up?

Bucknell has a strong business program that is well respected. Villanova is known for accounting.

Lehigh ranks very high for undergraduate business. It should be noted, however, that few top colleges offer undergraduate business degrees, so the competition isn't the same as for, say, engineering programs or liberal arts departments.

Are you saying that it is harder to get into Lehigh's business program than it is to get into their engineering or liberal arts schools?

Not sure that's what she's saying. She'll need to confirm or correct her viewpoint. Engineering is the top shelf at Lehigh. Then biz, then LA.

lehigh's undergraduate business program is rated top twenty in the countryit's between 13 and 18 i believe

well idk rankings are like...very unreliable. But lehigh is great in accounting and finance for sure.

i think rankings are reliable enough to put lehigh at the very top of business schools in PA. The only one i'd rank better is Wharton, and villanova is up there w/ lehigh

haha yea don't forget that wharton is in PA too, and that's the number 1 b-school in the country.

dude
where is wharton? it obvious does a better job than lehigh

wharton? it's the B school at Penn, in philadelphia...

What about Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh?

Villanova's business school is excellent, it ranks 12 in the nation.

I'm sure Villanova's a fine place, but these undergraduate business rankings are not of much value aside from pointing in a general direction. Different game than grad school. btw, CMU's undergrad biz program is not known to be specifically notable. But I'm sure the students are all bright, so they'll all do well. But of course, that in itself tells virtually nothing about their course of study.

well then might i add that villanova ranks #1 for masters in the north for the graduate level.

I've heard they've a fine MBA program, too. It's not Wharton or Chicago or Northwestern in reputation, but I'm sure it's solid.

Accoring to US News Penn State's Smeal is a better undergrad business school than Lehigh???

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/business-major/442879-psu-lehigh.html

these guys in this above thread agree as well

In fact, Lehigh's isn't even ranked in the TOP 50 according to US News

Top US Undergraduate Business Schools

How is that possible??

Business Week ranks Lehigh in the Top 20 and much much higher than Penn State's Smeal
