Is there a 55-inch space for a keyboard (digital piano)? I know that NEU's freshman dorms are known for being abnormally small. Can someone post a picture?

Never heard that before. Freshman dorms are definitely smaller than upperclassman dorms, but not abnormally so.

Unfortunately, it’ll depend entirely on the room and your roommate as to whether or not there will be room for a keyboard. Dorm size varies pretty wildly between buildings, especially the freshman dorms.

I really wouldn’t recommend it. The dorms vary by building, and you won’t know where you’re living until mid to late summer, but I can’t think of any freshman room I’ve been in that could have fit a keyboard comfortably. Unless you’re super minimalist with your stuff and live like a monk otherwise. The school has practice rooms with pianos on campus, and if you’re a music major, you’ll likely live in Kerr Hall, which has a piano in the building. It’s not hard to find a place to play. Leave the keyboard at home.

I believe that is an LLC just for music lovers too so I’m sure you will find a place to play there.

I’m actually a chem major I just want to start playing the piano more in college.
