I've taken it upon myself to adopt the princeton forum...usually adoptions work the other way around, with the parents selecting the child they wanna adopt- but with the adoption process in the United States being so complicated, I thought I would speed up the process...
anyway, one thing that attracts me to the princeton board so much is the fact that you folks seem much closer than me and my buds over there at the Harvard board...we're going through family problems, so if you guys don't mind, u think it might be ok if i crashed here for a few nights? I promise i won't make a whole lotta trouble...just a post here and there :)

thanks for the warm welcome :) ....don't get me wrong, I love harvard and my harvard family, but its nice to have dinner every once in a while with the neighbors...especially when the neighbor is as attractive as fair princeton

Waiting for emails,
Harvard EAers rumble.
Winter brings closure.

=The Harvard EA board as a haiku. I spend way too much time on CC without adopting boards of schools I'm not applying to, but slicmlic, i feel your pain.

Are you planning on applying RD Princeton?
The cool thing about Harvard EA's is that they can definitely apply to Princeton and reject Harvard later :)

i met the associate director of admissions at a Princeton interview session and he was the nicest guy ever!!! we talked for quite a bit, and were on a first name basis by the end of the night...so to answer your question zant, yes, I'm going to apply RD to princeton regardless of what happens with harvard (although I don't think I have a real shot at either one to tell you the truth, but thats irrelevant...guy can dream, cant he? :) )

Zante-not sure who you were asking, but if that question was to me, no I'm not applying to Princeton. It was just a school I'd heard some vaguely negative things about (rumors of snobbery, probably unfounded), and there were only so many possible visits/essays that could be written.

slimclic...i'm in the same boat! this is such a cute thread!
fellow harvard ea'er and princeton rd'er who feels a major lack of love in the harvard area...i have also moved to princeton...please adopt me, too

Aww, I really wish people wouldn't judge it so much by the stereotype of snobbery. The truth is, yes there are snobby people at pton, but you can't tell me that there aren't any at Harvard.

Anyway, I think we're an awesome group of people, if that says anything about the unfoundedness of those rumors.

I guess I gave more credence to the Princeton snob stereotype than the Harvard one because the only Princeton student I know is rather snobby (and the Harvard ones aren't). Judging a school by one person is absolutely horrible though. You CC EDers are very impressive, and I have an evil hope that you somehow won't make Princeton ED and end up at Harvard RD.

a surprising fact that i discovered yesterday was that princeton and yale has the oldest rivalry in sports....go figure...(when i say oldest, i mean they have played each other the most times)
