One-word characterizations of Ivies?

Thanks all for playing along. I lost power for a couple of days so it was nice to be able to log back in and see the progression. Some of the word associations had me in stitches.

In looking over the list, it seems that aside from a couple of common elements (Dartmouth = beer frats snow sports) (Brown = laid-back tie-dyed hippies living at a school that evokes the color of excrement (or UPS)) (H/Y/P = interchangeably self-important, depending on the poster), I'd say the opinions vary enough to be useful primarily for entertainment purposes.

Award for the best adjective to this point has to go to tonytet on 1/4/09 at 4:27pm, for his use of the word "frenetic" to describe Columbia. Having been on that campus once or twice, it seems like an apt description. Although, I could see applying it to a lesser extent to Harvard's campus outside the yard.

Thanks to all who helped out and gave me some laughs in the process...

Gabby

Harvard - No good food (when I went)
Princeton - A Beautiful Mind
Yale - Important
Penn - Money
Cornell - Lucky to be here (jk haha)
Brown - annoying/liberal
Columbia - Obamaaaa
Dartmouth - small/cozy/Superbad

Harvard - talent
Princeton - snobby
Yale - high-maintenance
Penn - business/Wharton
Cornell - suicide... haha... sorry
Brown - parties
Columbia - liberal
Dartmouth - rich kids

Of course, simple one-word discriptions of colleges and universities is ridiculous and absurd, and you should try avoiding these adjectives to pick colleges.

This thread is awesome; I just hate reading multiple words in a single sitting.
