Does anyone know of any well known universities where they offer graduate degrees that can be completed in a year?

UChicago's MAPH and MAPSS programs, and MA and MSc programs in the UK are all 1 yr....

I suppose it depends on the field you want to pursue. A few programs I am applying to (NYU in Madrid, SLU in Madrid), all have 1 year programs in Spanish Language & Literature..Like I said though I'm sure it depends on the subject, humanities might be different than other areas.

I'm doing my master's in civil engineering in one year. Most civil engineering (not sure about other engr disciplines) can be completed in 2 semesters if you're not pursuing the thesis option.

On the fels website they said two years...

Im looking for preferrably a good school that offers a masters in something like economics, govt etc

You can do Fels in a year.........summer included. Sounds like you have NO interest despite your mention of government.

How long does it take to complete the program?
The MGA may be taken as a full-time, four-term program (completed within two academic years) or as an Executive, six-term program (generally completed within 24 months including summers). Full-time students who do not work on an internship may be able to complete the program in 1.5 years.

PS Hazmat, I don't claim to know what you are interested in so don't try to tell me what I'm interested in.
