I am currently attending my first year at ucsb and would like to transfer to either UCLA or CAL as a business econ major. I transferred 46 units from ap tests, and was curious what my prospects look like for transferring since I won't have finished a single class at the time of the application?

None of the other one year transfer threads have been getting much love, Please help. It will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think they are going to accept you, but go ahead and try.
Here are some limitations in your plan:
-you wont have finished the pre reqs for your major (unless you have started them this quarter)
-i don't know what AP tests you took, but when transferring AP tests like Human Geo dont matter too much
-you dont have a GPA
-When they ask for units completed on the application, you cant put down 46
-if you plan on applying as a sophomore transfer, your chances of getting accepted are 0%
-if you plan on applying as a junior transfer, and you write a excellent personal statement, and have a good GPA in this quarter, and complete your pre reqs, you prob have a 10 - 15% chance....

......go as a counselor they would prob be more helpful
