Online Access to Application Profile?

A couple of questions:

If you attended summer seminar do you still need to submit another application online to the academy?

Can you look up your application and status online? I have seen several comments where people said they were “competitive.”

THANKS!

If you attended summer seminar, you don't have to do the PCQ, but you do have to finish your application. They just recently added to the application a bunch of forms to be completed. It also shows you your application status when you go to the application.

heavyhitter: If you haven't figured out yet you can go to https://admissions.usafa.edu/secure/online/onlineapplication.exe

^^Then you can put in your SSN and DOB then it'll show your app.

Thanks For The Information And Url!!!!

i went on that but nothing is there except the basic stuff from before..where are the other forms

All the forms are located at the very bottom of the page. upatel23, are you certain they aren't there?

are they different tabs that you have to send

the onli tabs i have a are Personal Information, Academic Performance, Questionnaire, High School, and Congressional Representative, does anyone have more where they have to send these forms by mail or anything...ive already gotten my medical forms from DODMERB.

This is how my page looks (other candidates can cross check with me on this):

There are boxes with different headings. I have
1st Box: Application Status
2nd: Personal Information
3rd: Nomination Status
4th: Academic Performance
5th: Medical Status
6th: High School
7th: Congressional Representative
8th: Forms you must fill out and submit (this has 7 seperate forms). You have to print out two forms, one is your CFA (where you just use the sheet to record the test results) and another academic/school form for your HS counseler to fill it out and send it in). The other forms are electronic.

Ok mine doesnt dsay that yet maybe because im still a applicant and not a candidate yet...thanks though for checking

Yup, Semper. You're good there.

It says my application is: "Competitive", is this just the default or are there different labels you can get.

Does anyone have "Candidate" as their application status?

When you submit your application you become a "Prospect." When USAFA processes your application you become an "Applicant." Should USAFA deem you competitive and/or you receive a nomination, you will become a "Candidate."

My app gives the following:
Your Status: Candidate*
Your Application is: Incomplete**
Does Your Application is: Incomplete change to anything other than "complete" after you finish it?

I am a candidate.
If you are deemed competitive, you should become a candidate soon.

I have a quick question...

I got into the summer seminar for USAFA, but chose not to go.

Before the app came out, my file was labeled as: "Competitive".

When the app came out, it said: "Candidate".
However, I have received two letters from USAFA within the past 1-2 months, with the second one coming yesterday, that says: "...you are currently not competitive for an appointment.....". Has anyone received this kind of letter? thanks

I'm not sure about your letter, sorry.

But for the people who don't have the rest of the application, what is your app status? Maybe it's because you're deemed not competitive at this point...??? That's the only reason I can think of.
