online application

On the "Activities" section of the online application, I have math team as one of my activities. For the awards/honors section, if I put down "AIME qualifier," will the the admissions people know what I'm talking about? Or should I spell out AIME (which takes up precious space).

Also, just to double check, there is no specific spot on the application that asks for summer activities, right?

EDIT: I suppose a better question is this: for some of these awards/events/honors, how specific do we have to be in labeling them? I'm not talking about being purposely vague, I just mean if using the widely used acronyms/abbreviations is fine. The online application doesn't seem to leave much room for explanation, so I'm not really sure.

Isn't there an extra section for notes about activites/awards/etc where you could write more about your activities to clarify anyting that might be confusing?

Yes, use the optional section. I found the activities section on the app to be pretty annoying, because I HAD to put hours per week and weeks per year, when most of my ECs don't have definitive answers for those. I also needed a little space just to clarify some things. That's why I expanded on them each just a tiny bit in the optional section.
