Is there anyway to type up everything on a computer and then print it out without submitting it online. Ideally, I would like to type up my applications on the computer, print them out, attach my supplemental materials, and stick everything in an envelope and mail it to the college. However, on all the applications that I've downloaded, I have only been able to print out the forms, not edit them. I tried using a typewriter but it is very difficult to get all everything neatly inside the boxes. Thanks for the help.

Why not just do the online application, send it in. And get your counselor to send in your supplementals with your transcripts. That's what I did, and it worked fine for me.

If I submit the apps electronically, how would I attach a resume?

Mail the resume.

IF you have photoshop, you can open PDFs and type on them...

Acrobat Professional is just too complicated to use, IMO...

What does IMO mean in your sense? The only IMO I know is the International Mathematical Olympiad.

In my opinion

Oh ok. (10 char)

You can either
a) Find the PDF version of the app and do it in Adobe and print it.
or
b) Do the online app and print out the preview and send it.

But there's really no harm in sending the app online and then sending supplemental material through regular mail. As long as you put the necessary identifying info, it'll go into your folder.

The Perfectionist nit-picker that I am requires total formatting control over my applications. Thus, I opt for Photoshop layering of the PDFs...

I only wish someone had told me before I went on an Acrobat Professional search that I could open PDFs in Photoshop. I spent 4 hours looking for someone/someplace with Acrobat Pro, when I already had Photoshop on my own computer.

When should I start sending apps for ED decision? I'm really confused.

shahein, acrobat gave me total control over the formatting too...

rainbow, you should work on it as soon as possible, immediately if you can. as long as u send it in before nov 1 you're fine.
