<p>I have been looking at online applications and some only ask for my ACT score, however it does not ask for GPA. A friend told me if they have so much information about you they can pull up your transcript or they jsut get it mailed to them from your school on their own, is this true?</p>
<p>Generally speaking, you mail your transcript (well, you do some process with the school to get them to send it), which lists your GPA. Some schools, like the UC's, don't require a transcript or for you to directly calculate your GPA, but instead ask you to list all of the classes you've taken and your grades in them.</p>
