I am taking Spanish 2 online at BYU. I already took first semester but I hadn't taken second part of spanish 1 due to health reasons so I did poorly and transferred back to Spanish 1 during second semester. I got a high A.

I just started the first semester of BYU. Do colleges look unfavorably at online classes?

The site was recommended to me by my counselor but I'm worried that the content isn't the same as what was covered in my school's spanish 2 course. Will it cover everything I need to know to get an A in Spanish 3?

Are you in high school? I’m curious as to how you’re taking summer classes. Please tell me how.

Wow, I’ve actually heard pretty great things about BYU and their online classes. How is it going for you? I was thinking about taking a foreign language with them but there are free online classes where I live so I don’t think it would be worth the money. :p

So far its not bad. It gives you a little quiz that doesn’t count for your grade on each section so that you know that you know the material. There is an open note quiz each section that is multiple choice. Even though its open note if you want to succeed in your school’s spanish program you need to know the concepts and vocab so you should try not to look at the notes too much. Each quiz counts for 10% of the grade. There is 6 of them. Then the rest of your grade is an oral exam and a final exam. It seems to cover the stuff I learned in the first semester of spanish 2. I am in highschool.

I took the class because it is one of the only online programs that my school accepted. For me my counselor signed me up so when I finish but I’m pretty sure you finish can the course and then send the transcript to your school
