<p>On the admission status page, this is a link on the left under Financial Aid for "unofficial award letter" award, but it didn't work. I think this is where your preliminary award will be, once they fix the site.</p>

<p>On the regular financial aid page, if you click "My Aid Status/Check Your Aid" it says:
"Effective immediately, your Perm Number and Pin are no longer used to access this site. You must use your UCSBnetID and Password. This is the same ID and password used to access your U-Mail account. If you need to secure a UCSBnetID and Password, or you forgot yours, please use the link above." </p>

<p>I don't think you can get UCSBnetID until you are actually a student.</p>

<p>Accepted. Got in at 9:56 pm but connection wasn't stable and lost it when we tried to go to FinAid page so no other details.</p>

<p>rix: I was able to stay on their website long enough to read the info on financial aid. once you send in or click on your "SIR" UCSB begins the financial aid processing, unlike other UC's that have already calculated and have a "provisional award" or something like that.</p>
