SO when are they? March 29th 5pm like Harvard? Everywhere that I've checked, they've talked about mail dates and such and I'm assuming they have an online notification system too.

somebody told me march 30th... not positive.

i get jittery the day that we get sats back. i dont even want to think of myself march 29-30 :( how i will cope with it? put as much distance between college confidential and myself as possible the week leading up to it.

seriously...ever since 7th grade i have always wondered whether i'll be accepted into Columbia. It's amazing that the decision will be coming in a little over a month

I heard March 28th they would be mailed.

harvards go out march 29th at 5 est...

I think all Ivys are releasing decisions on March 29th 5pm EST.

Likely letters say that decisions are MAILED out on the 28th (I think I/someone else posted this somewhere else before too).

So expect to see something on the 29th/30th? =)

aren't they also sent out in an email? or am i just making that up

For ED, we got the email at 5pm, which is when they gave DHL the letters to mail. If it's the same for RD, you should get an online notification before a physical letter.

sweet, I wonder what the acceptance rate will be for RD.

REALLY, REALLY low. I think it's something in the neighborhood of 6% for the college.

what the.....!!!!....that really blows...and sucks...at the same time.

I'll call the admissions office tomorrow to confirm the date. I THINK it's the 29th.

"REALLY, REALLY low. I think it's something in the neighborhood of 6% for the college."

1201/15195= ~7.9%

BE POSITIVE! It was closer to 8 last year... but then again there are more applicants this year so it may be around 6% or even lower ;)

Whatis The Official Days That This Involves

good luck, everyone. columbia is daughter's number one choice but I'm not too optimistic

yeahhhh there are 21,303 RD applications this year. if they let the same amount of kids in that will be like 5.6%. Thats REALLY REALLY low.

i'm doomed.

Why do so many people apply to Columbia? That's pretty crazy.
