Ouch.

New York+ivy league school+world renowned+the core...how can you not love Columbia?

Do we have to sign up for email decisions?

Hey, I'd also like to know when admitted students visit days are?

April 20-21 for SEAS...I don't know about Columbia College.

Okay, don't freak, but I believe that Columbia is sending out decisions next Monday after 5:00 PM, meaning before the 29th. That's what I heard from a girl at my school, who's sure of herself.

:-O

(10 char)

showtunesguy89. If that were true, Columbia would not be an IVY. Decisions will come out on the 29th.

COLUMBIA SUCKS...

jk... cries

please I need to be part of that lucky 6 percent

All decisions from ivy league will come out on the 29th?
But I heard my friend said that Brown would send out decisions on 28th
weird...

juniorinhs, you're right. Columbia is an Ivy League. Then again, why did Columbia send decisions out to ED applicants earlier than all the other Ivies did? =). Exactly.

There was no agreed date for ED; for example, Dartmouth also released decisions earlier than Yale or Harvard. RD, however, is agreed upon as 3/29.

dang 6%...

"There was no agreed date for ED; for example, Dartmouth also released decisions earlier than Yale or Harvard. RD, however, is agreed upon as 3/29."

Which makes sense. Agreeing upon a date makes no sense for ED (since you can only apply to one school anyway), but it does make sense for RD, when it ensures that no school gains an advantage over the other by notifying admits earlier...

does the email subject line say the same thing whether you are accepted or rejected (ie your application) or is it congratulations...if you made it? Any idea?

Not to sound dumb, but where do you actually check to see your decisions? Like what's the URL or what do I need to click on?

Columbia emails your decision to you.

wow 6%, now I feel dont have a shot!!!

Has anyone ever committed suicide after being rejected from a dream college?

probably, but don't if ur considering to do it. Just think of how life is (i.e the CEO of AIG was a janitor) so even if u dont get into your dream college, there are other ways to get where u want to go in life.
