I recall one of the UC campuses stating that the videos of lectures are posted online somewhere. I hope the same applies to UCSD as well. I know someone stated that Czworkowski posts the chem slides online but I just wanted to know where/when I can access the online slides/lectures if they exist.

Anyone have any information regarding this?

nearly all the chem classes use webct.ucsd.edu – if you’re registered for the class, it’ll show up on the main page for you. (but if the prof hasn’t gotten around to making the website, then don’t expect much)

and not every class is videotaped. i’ve heard transcripts/podcasts of hoeger’s lectures online, which are far superior to anything czworkowski could come up with.

there are also some teachers that realize this, and make a point to cover things in lecture that DON’T make it to the online slides.

ie, my molbio professor went over an insane rendition of sex determination in fruit flies in class, made no mention of it on the posted slides … and sat back and watched as half the class missed the question on the exam.

well in case you miss the lecture or had issues with it you’d want to view the video or podcast.

How do I get a username and password? I checked the class list link and that didnt do anything. I assume I’m registered for the class. I’m not in any urgent rush to get this set but I was wondering if I could still get access to Johnson’s or Hoeger’s podcasts as well.
