<p>Online Masters degrees from a reputable university are no joke. Their degree requirements typically are the same as brick and mortar classroom requirements. Lectures are delivered over the web. Assignments are submitted via email/internet delivery system.</p>
<p>Many of the programs I’ve seen require you to take your exams at local proctored testing sites. The exams are faxed/emailed to the proctor, and you are required to show up at a specific time and present ID before taking the exam.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t recommend getting a Masters degree from a “for profit” diploma mill type school. Those are what you would call “a joke”.</p>
