<p>I am planning on doing multiple (at least two) versions of the online common application because the supplemental essay for some of my schools is the same as my main common app essay. If i create multiple versions of the online common app, will that affect the rec's that my teachers do for me electronically? Will they have to do separate rec's (and will i have to invite them with separate e-mails) for each version of the common app i make?</p>

<p>When my son did his online Common Application he did 3 versions, but he listed the schools at the end of the first version and did the teacher and counselor invites at that point. He only created the second and third versions for the essay portions so the rest of the info (teacher and counselor info carried over into the 2nd and 3rd version) remained the same. So to answer your question, no they will only fill out the form once when they get their e-mail and you will know this because you will receive and e-mail confirmation when it is all created, if I remember correctly. PM me if this is completely confusing, I remember it was confusing when we did it.</p>

<p>No I don’t think so. For each school I just selected the teachers whose recs I wanted to send. The versions didn’t matter.</p>
