Has anyone taken any online test preparation courses like Green Test prep .or any other… please share your feedback
In my experience, online prep courses have a lot of advantages over classroom courses and tutoring aside from the obvious ones (they’re less expensive, they allow you to work on your schedule, you don’t have to travel to them, etc.). I think that classroom learning usually teaches to “the average student,” so a lot of time is wasted, and you won’t always get the help you need. And tutors usually spend most of their time explaining problems to you, but you can usually get that info in the back of your books and the answer explanations there. Online programs usually give you more of a PLAN, which is what I think most students are most lacking. They give you a step by step way to prepare for the exam on your own terms, and they clear up all the study issues holding you back. Also, a lot of them are way more flexible, so they let you study what you need to and ignore the rest.
My biggest piece of advice for online programs? Check the results they post and the testimonials, along with the guarantee. If they have good results and a lot of testimonials, and they come with a good guarantee, they’re probably worth a shot. If not, then they might just be random projects that certain tutors or companies are putting up to “cash in” on the online prep trend.
