I am a rising senior and my school only offers 8 AP courses. As a junior, I took English Language(got a 4) and US History(got a 5). Next year, I will only be taking 2 courses as well(English Literature and Biology).

I have reasons for only taking 2 courses each year. For junior year, I opted to take Honors Physics(no AP -_-) instead of AP Environmental or AP Biology. I also did not take AP Spanish because even though I do very well with Spanish, I do not think I am THAT great. I know I should challenge myself, but I do not think my grades would be that stellar in the class, and all of my other classes were quite difficult in junior year. As a senior, I am doubling up in science(AP Bio and Forensic Science) and have to take an Art class to graduate, therefore I can not take AP Euro(however I really only like US history). I am not taking AP Calculus next year because in all honesty, I can really only handle Honors Calculus(which to my understanding is also quite difficult).

After seeing everyone post their scores, it appears to me that my number of AP courses is quite inadequate. Will this hurt me when applying to colleges? Will colleges take into account that my school only offers 8 AP courses and you can only take them junior and senior year? Should I self-study another course? I don't think I will have time to handle self-studying with all of my volunteering and riding my horses.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh and the colleges I plan on applying to are:
Cornell
Colgate
Brown
University of Del.
University of Maryland
Penn State
Marist(maybe)
Rutgers

Thanks in advance!!
