My high school offers a total of seven AP classes. I'm going to be a junior in the fall but I haven't taken any yet. This is why:

The classes offered are AP Art (You need to have taken like four art classes previously, which I have not done/have no time to do), AP Calculas (I'm not taking pre-calculas, so I obviously can't take this), AP Biology (Biology is one of my weakest subjects and I feel like this would be a detriment to my GPA/class rank), AP Spanish (I've been taking French), AP English (I will take this senior year), AP World History (taking senior year), and AP US History (taking senior year.)

That said, if I take 3 AP courses senior year, is that bad? Is that too little? Or is it too late in my high school career? Out of the seven AP courses only THREE are even able to be taken before you're a senior (the two histories and biology.)

I'm taking all honor's classes and I do have the ability to take one AP History class this year, so do you think I should?

The A.P. system is messed up. Well, our whole education system is messed up, but I won’t bore you with that.

At my high school the vast majority of people took A.P. U.S. History their junior year. A.P. World was mostly done senior year, as well. I just have a feeling that you’ll regret doing both history classes in the same year because of the amount of reading you’ll have to do (not to mention A.P. English if it’s Literature/Composition instead of Language/Composition).
