suure ur gonna do all that
not to be mean, but as a freshman its almost impossible to tell chances for colleges, especially since a lot of things can change over the next 3 years. But for a freshman, your scores are incredibly high, especially SAT score. Keep working hard and u'll do well

I agree. I'm also a freshman, but it seems insane to predict those kinds of stats for yourself. If you actually end up achieving all of that, it's wonderful! But you can't assume a straight-A high school career and 5s on all AP tests. Sometimes things happen. Life gets in the way.

You are a Freshman, come back to CC when you are a junior..

I do understand the difficulty of this and I also understand that yes it is wishful thinking to hope to achieve all of that. I'm just going under the hyptothetical situation, so I can see if I have at least some potential of getting in. Thanks for the feedback.

oh... an I forgot to mention a double legacy at purdue

Have you heard of the USACO / TopCoder contests?

You should try those if you're interested in computer programming and stuff.

Yes, I jsut started USACO a little while ago, but I'm just getting used to it. Should I leave that out until I start getting pretty far up.?

I would say no chances at any any of them! Colleges want diverse people that have lives! Get out and do something fun, travel abroad for a summer and learn interesting things about another culture. Anythign that makes you semi-normal such as that will help out. Few colleges have robot clubs, so eveidently not enough robot enthusiasts get accepted!

No point in worrying about specific chances yet. You're on the right track, and that's the most that anyone can tell a freshman.

I resent that utah. I'm not another college freak; I manage to split my time between school and life quite well. I have a steady relationship, play clarinet, have friends gasp, play video games, etc. The stereotype that if one wants to get into an Ivy school (or one similar) they have to be completely focused on school every day of their life is complete BS.

im a sophmore and my question is how you even have time or space in a school schedule to take that many APs...even in the most elite schools where all these are offered...you'd have to take so many classes after school or during summer even with your online classes i don't see it being done--it seems your a smart kid but can you really predict a 5 on 12 out of 14 AP tests--no...even as a sophmore its impossible to predict where id be on tests etc....but with your PREDICTED GRADES youd probably get into all of those colleges

Yeah - I realize this is a best-case scenario... but one can hope, right?
lol

Don't hope for the best. I had straight A's as a freshman then I had 10 Bs, 10 As the rest of the way through junior yr

Well, include the results of the contests (like maybe try to figure out your rank in the US on the contests which is at http://activities.tjhsst.edu/sct/ranking.php), but if you try hard enough, you will do really good once your a junior or senior.

Ooops... I just noticed I forgot to put RIT on there!

I love how you predict AP scores for tests that are 3 years in the future.

If you are starting this early you appear to be in great shape.

Well, predict is not exactly the word I would use... but yes. I think that I'm gonna end up working my butt off junior/senior year.

Bumpppppppp
