I'm just wondering if anyone has stats for OOS admissions. I'm specifically looking for score ranges.

I would say it is a subjective matter. Different states and different schools have different ranking and grading systems. However I can say that 90 percent of the out of state applicants are extremely competitive students who have taken the most rigorous course load (AP/ IB/ dual enrollment at local college) and who are ranked within the top 1st-5th percentile for their graduating class. As far as collegeboard goes, I’d say the median 50% out of state students had a 1400-1520 SAT, 30-34 ACT score. Though grades and SATs are not enough to get you into UNC, you must be very well rounded and involved in your community. Most out of state students typically choose between top 20 private universities (Duke, Emory, Wash-U, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, USC, etc) and UNC (or other top publics, i.e) Virginia, Michigan and Berkeley.

Hope this helps!
