OOS Transfer $$$

I am potentially applying to UCLA and Berkeley as an oos transfer student. I am aware that I'd have to pay the ~35k dollar oos price tag, but since it's 10k lower than most private colleges I am comfortable with it.

My questions is as an OOS how much aid/scholarships do they give out? Is it like slim-to-none? I'd only be going for two years so I wouldn't mind paying oos tuition for a reasonable price but can not justify taking $35kx2 in private loans just to go...

Just curious if anyone knows how they treat oosers with aid before I spend money applying

The UC schools give zero financial aid towards the OOS fees. Here is a snippet from UCSD; all the UCs have the same policy

Thank you for that info mike! I’m confused, how is it 22,978 for oos when it says on the website it costs nearly 35,000 for oos?

nevermind, I understand now.
