any idea of the "all-in" cost for undergrads coming from Out-of-State for 2010-2011 academic year? Anticipated percentage increases for the last three years following that? TIA

There isn’t suppossed to be another increase. The increases were for winter and spring quarter 2010 to culminate to 32% with fall 2011.

Spring 2010 fees: [Fees: Spring Quarter](http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/fees/spring10fee.htm)
OOS = 11000 per quarter, 33000 a year

Houisng and food: [2009-2010 On-Campus Housing Rates (1002806)](http://map.ais.ucla.edu/portal/site/UCLA/menuitem.789d0eb6c76e7ef0d66b02ddf848344a/?vgnextoid=cd6024df52071110VgnVCM200000ddd76180RCRD)
Anywhere from 10,000 to 16,000 depending upon room preference and meals per week

So all in all, you are looking at between 43,000 and 49,000 bucks.
I would add another 3-5 grand just like that (college is like a boat - “Bust Out Another Thousand”) - You will be going home for spring break, thanksgiving, Christmas, plus any activities you may want to partake in, plus books, plus extra crap you WILL need but don’t think you will.
Just ballpark it at 50k.

to what binks said, that extra 3-5 grand depends on where your home is, how often you go home and what type of lifestyle you live. I probably got by with -32 grand - but I didn’t go home except for the big breaks and thanksgiving, and I wasn’t eating out every night.
