<p>Because of the economy forcing budget cuts especially into education...We know that tuition is gonna be raised 14 % for the next two years for in-state students but for out-of-state students, their tuition is set not by washington legislature but regents. These guys don't have any caps on tuition limit whatsoever and decide based on situation. For an out-of-state student this must be stressing not yet knowing how much you will pay until after the deadline....I'm curious to know if there is some good news about this or any new details?</p>
<p>check out the post by an oos mom on the waitlisted thread and i think the thread “how many oos are committing” or something like that. she said she had to withdrawl her daugheters enrollment and the office said they had been getting calls like that all week or something</p>

<p>Expect a 14% increase in-line with the just approved instate increase. With a 25% funding cut from the state pending they need the money badly.</p>
