I'm hoping to go to UT next year but my parents don't want me to since its so far away and expensive. I want to major in business but I didn't get into McCombs. Could I possibly get a waiver for next year (I'm undeclared, from what I understand I couldn't) or after getting into McCombs after freshman year and if so, how hard is it to get one? Sorry I have no clue how this works...

I am curious about these also. Are they part of the scholarship package or have they already been awarded to people?

Seems that most people got them already, and it sounds like you get them from specific schools. (like Cockrell, Natural Sciences) So I think if we didn’t get one already, we’re out of luck. But I hope I can get one from McCombs somehow after freshman year…

I don’t know if McCombs offers any. I know that Cockrell gives a few out as combined scholarship packages.

Yeah, I’ve heard if you aren’t applying to the Engineering school, it is nearly impossible to get an OOS scholarship. Any truth to this?
