"Open Book"/Untimed Practice Tests VS Timed/"Single Sitting"

Hi. I just got my PSAT score back (junior), and it's time to get studying for the real thing.

I'm not going to take a class/get a tutor. My basic plan is to take a practice test once a week, go over it, identify weak areas, study those weak areas, then take another practice test. Rinse and repeat.

Should I even bother doing practice tests one section at a time, or take a "single sitting" test untimed w/ or w/o it being "open book"? If so, how often?

Keep in mind I have the "Blue Book" (with answer explanations), Princeton Review, and Barron's 2400. I'll stick with the books I have.

Thanks for helping me with my "study plan"!
