<p>I know that the open curriculum means that there are no general requirements, but what about majors? If you major or concentrate in biology, for example, are you required to take around the same number of courses in that major that you would at any other college? And what about making your own major? Is that possible? If I decided that I wanted to major in Creative Writing, for example, how would that work? The reason I’m asking is that having no general requirements isn’t a big deal for me since I have enough AP credit to get out of general requirements at other colleges anyway. Thanks for any advice, because this is a big factor in choosing for me!</p>
<p>Concentrations are pretty much the same as majors anywhere else. Our Literary Arts department is top notch. Yes, you can create your own concentration, but we already have 95 on the books including yours.</p>
