I heard that transfer students are able to enroll into classes that become full. Is this true? My enrollment date is in August and classes are filling up. I'm getting kind of nervous that I won't be able to enroll.

Assuming that you’re going to UCLA, refer to http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/952845-ucla-orientation-exposed-12.html post #170. I’m going to orientation on Monday and if I’m able to sign up for one of the classes that’s full, I’ll let you know!

I sure hope it’s true. My orientation is on 7/29 and pretty much all the classes I was looking to take are full.

It’s not true at least for Math, Statistics, and Economics. May vary by major though. I wasn’t able to get ANY classes in the above three departments that were already closed.

class spots are saved for later enrollment dates. so they say they are full, but they arent because there are still saved slots that you cant get into yet

I need to clarify. This is for UCSC.

ajdavidson, that may be true for some departments but not for the mathematics department at least. If the course was full, it was full. They don’t grant PTEs until the first day of class, and you have to go to the main math office and go on a waitlist for a waitlist the first day of class.

well im talking about ucsb. sooo im not wrong for my school at least
