<p>hi, i'm a second year accounting major and was offered a summer internship in the operations department at neuberger berman. i was wondering if someone could point me to more information as to what kind of work that would entail? some quick google searches seem to tell me that ops is not the most ideal department to work in... but i figure any experience will be beneficial, as it will be my first internship.</p>

<p>Well I doubt that you’d be making multi-million dollar shots. On top of that, it won’t just getting coffee for the bosses. Probably stuff like typing up forms, helping take notes at meetings, organizing files, maybe some slight paperwork. Worst come worst, just quit! lol.</p>

but i accepted the offer. it’s a 6 week internship, with 40 hour work weeks and $10/hr; pretty decent.</p>
