Opinion on Most Complete University

Just interested in some peoples' opinions on this topic. What university has a good all-around college experience? (good at most sports, great education in most departments, good weather, a lot to do on campus, good recruiters in the area, low crime, nice location, etc.)

Cornell was the first that came to my mind. I has the widest array of academic programs of any university I have researched, and the town of Ithaca is absolutely gorgeous.

The University of Texas at Austin.

Hands down the best. Don’t even try to argue this one.

Texas is what I woulda guessed.

“What starts here changes the world.” UT Austin ftw hands down. lol

I know a guy who told me he strongly regretted not going to Cornell just because of how beautiful it is.

Duke and Stanford, I would imagine.

It’s MIT ofc!

Definitely UCLA

Stanford, Texas, and Vanderbilt are my picks. UNC and UVA also.

Honorable mention: USC and Duke (surrounding area sucks at both though)

I’d have to say it’s close between Stanford and UT Austin. UT has better sports but Stanford is Stanford. Michigan possibly but the weather is bad.

Though Vanderbilt has awesome sports and academics, Nashville isn’t necessarily considered “safe.” So I couldn’t include them. Stanford? I know they’re good at baseball, but…

My picks: Michigan (I heard the warm months aren’t too bad), UNC, UT-Austin, IU-Bloomington and Ohio State

Honorable mentions: Georgetown (the area around Georgetown is safe, D.C. isn’t), USC, UCLA (again, safety factors for both schools, outside of the surrounding areas)

Stanford should have a pretty solid football team this year. Their women’s hoops team is consistently good.

As long as you aren’t a little ***** about weather, Michigan hands down

I would only want to go to a university in a city with a lot of crime. I can’t stand it when things are too peaceful.

^Are you Mexican?

If you’re looking for good weather, good sports, and hot people, you can’t beat University of Hawaii Manoa.

LOL, what is this? XD There are some truly awful areas of DC, but most of it is safe. You’re obviously not from here. If you want danger, visit Baltimore.

The area around Vandy is safe and Nashville is fine.

Stanford’s football team only lost one game this year, babytitain. Cold winter weather take schools like IU, Michigan, Ohio State off my list.
