Opinions about dumb grade things for a deferred student

Hey!
So..I'm having a slight crisis in my life...I got a 93 in physics B for the second quarter after getting a 98 in the first quarter. Not to make excuses, but I'm making excuses. I went to China for two weeks and missed a whole bunch of school and just didn't do as well as I had hoped. I asked for extra credit but my teacher does not think a 93 is that bad of a grade, which it isn't...but its COLUMBIA. I haven't gotten a 93 since like freshman year...do you think this one grade will jeopardize my chances at getting into Columbia? I have a 2250 SAT, 34 ACT and a 99ish weighted GPA. I was already deferred and really want to get in.

Opinions? Am I being absurd about this 93 second-quarter grade? Should I fight with my teacher to raise it? Will it get me rejected from Columbia?

Thank you!

You’re being absurd. If you get rejected, it’s not going to be for that 93.
