Hello!
I am currently at the University of Washington, and am looking to transfer. I have been applying to a few different schools. I know the deadline for many has passed, but for most I have seen it is still open for transfers.
I haven’t applied to colleges in two years and I am really overwhelmed by the choices. I am mostly looking for a school with community. I cannot find that feeling at my current school. This could/probably is a personal problem, but I know many other people who feel the same way, and I think the size of the school (40k) and competitiveness of my major here (biology) is adding to this feeling.
This school (ok, I shouldn’t blame the school) has also butchered my GPA, so I am interested in schools with fairly generous acceptance rates.
I was looking at University of Hawaii at Manoa, but I have been reading some really terrible reviews of it.
If anybody has any suggestions on schools with a generally regarded tight-knit community (preferably small, but not necessarily) I would be really interested in hearing about them.
Thank you guys.
