Greetings, I am a North Carolina resident in the ninth grade with a 4.0 GPA. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I might be able to conduct research and gain experience with it? Thank you in advance.
You might reach out to college professors in your area and let them know your interest to see if they have an opportunity. Or choose a program that’s out there. You might also ask your HS teacher for ideas.

Unfortunately a lot of research programs require the participant to be 16 or older. What specific field are you looking to do research in?
–Does your HS offer any opportunities?
–Have you spoken to to your guidance counselor and science teacher about programs in your area for HS students?
Neuroscience
Unfortunately, my high school does not offer any research opportunities; however, I have not inquired about this topic to my teachers/counselors.
That would be a good place to start.
