Optional Submission

I've heard a lot about the optional part of the essay, but I've heard conflicting things. Is it supposed to be as much as you can fit on one piece of paper, or can I expand it to a video or a slideshow or something? I remember a representative from the admissions office telling us that someone sent them a cast (and to please not send them ours). Thanks for any advice.

clearly that person could've sent a picture of the cast... did they think before they sent it? Why would the admissions office want that?

if you want to expand it to a video or slideshow... I would probably put a link to it on the piece of paper, with at least a short explanation of what it is (aka, not just a link).

It is your chance to be creative... some people do nothing, some send an essay, and some do something else...
