Has anyone received this option? Or are there people out there who took advantage of it? Finally, assuming that one meets the criteria at the end of freshman year, is it worth leaving a second-tier school where you are happy to attend a top tier school as a transfer? Thanks!
I received the TO for ILR last year. I went to community college this year, along with working 20 hours a week. I saved a lot of money and do not have to worry about leaving friends behind, as some of my friends who received this offer were sad they had to do so. As long as you meet the requirements, you will be accepted! I got my acceptance in very early April. I would absolutely recommend going to a school that saves you money (commuting isn’t a bad idea), as long as you are sure you want to go to cornell. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
