Order of Ivy Prestige

I think corranged has got it about right.

Well, maybe put Penn higher than Columbia and Brown higher than Darty (no offense Bonnie :p)

Penn (they're so prestigious, they don't even want to waste their time on your CD's!)

1-8. Penn

All the other ivies are so much lower in rank that there's not enough space to put them on the list.

Guitar's Possible Ranking:
1. Harvard
2. Yale
3. Princeton
4. Penn
5. Columbia
6. Brown
7. Dartmouth
8. Cornell

It's impossible to rank prestigious schools without including non-Ivies.

It's possible to rank prestigious ivy league schools without including non-ivies.

See how that works?

No, it's very possible in a thread called "Order of Ivy Prestige" :p

One minute too late, GuitarMan.

Oh shoot, I'm like 15 minutes too late now. :(

I think everyone wanted to make that comment. It was so obvious and sitting there just waiting for someone to make it!

I'm glad I snatched it, then.

zephyr's the type of guy who returns a computer chair because he can't take the time to read the directions in order to figure out how to put it together.

haha I almost inserted a spot for Stanford in my list just for the hell of it just to c if anyone would notice, but decided against it.

So, now let's rank the most prestigious schools in Greater Boston and see how they compare.

Can we get a list of the schools to include, first?

Jeez that's like 50+, I'm not going to bother looking them all up.

I think the 1-2-3 is obvious Harvard, MIT, and Tufts. Is Brandeis considered Greater Boston?

Boston is too big. Let's go with Cambridge.

Harvard
MIT

Lesley?

Harvard

MIT

Lesley

Cambridge College

Can't think of any others.

I said Greater Boston because it's got some awesome schools, I bet the top 8 wouldn't even be that far below the Ivies. :p

Remember BC and BU.

Harvard

MIT

Tufts

Olin

Brandeis

Northeastern

Boston University

Boston College

I'm probably missing some good ones for my top 8, but how does that look as a general guideline?
