Order these Classes

To those who have dabbled in these courses: I need to finish them all in the next 3 semesters. Please help me figure out the best order to take them in, considering which classes may "mix" well if taken together load-wise/topic-wise.

Math: 104, 114, 128a, 185
Stat: 134, 150

Sp '12: 134, (Choose one: 128a, 104)
F '12: , _
Sp '13: _, _

Notes: 104 must come before 185; 134 before 150.

Thanks for your input, just wanted a couple opinions.

114 is only offered once a year. Usually in the Spring, but for some reason it was this Fall and not next Spring, so who knows what will happen. I’ve heard it’s kind of taught as a topics class. You might consider 250a (always taught in the fall) but it’s really difficult. Also if you’re doing applied stuff I don’t know how useful abstract algebra would be.
104 is better to take before 128a I think because it’s more foundational and opens up more classes.
185 is also a pretty hard class. I haven’t taken 128a yet but of the upper/lower divs 185 was the hardest, and I took it over the summer in a more relaxed setting.

Take Math 104 and Statistics 134 first because they are prerequisites to many other courses. This will give you more freedom in course selection for the remaining two semesters.

@indiscreet: When are you planning on taking 128a? The only reason i would take it next semester is because I’m 4th on the waitlist for 104, but am already enrolled in 128a. I’m holding out for 104, but holding on to 128a as a safety in case I don’t get in. Both work well in my sched, so whatever. & yeah, i’ve heard 185 is tough cookies. I’m thinking of holding out on it until my very last semester if possible… lol…

I’m assuming you don’t want to take 104 in one of the sections with open spaces? I think if you’re 4th on waitlist you can get in because people will drop or they’ll just expand the class size a bit.
I’ll probably take 128a over the summer, or next year. Not sure.
