Hello, i am a biology student on the track for pre-med. I noticed that I have to take Organic Chemistry and organic chemistry lab for med school. Do you advise that I take the actual class and lab at the same time? I was considering taking organic chemistry lab my junior year while I take physics because I don’t want to be overwhelmed by a difficult course-load due to taking organic and organic lab at the same time. However, I am also thinking that it would be better to take the lab at the same time as the class because it might enhance my understanding of organic chemistry. Any thoughts?

I think you should take the lab the same year as you take the lecture for orgo. Waiting to take orgo lab simultaneously with physics won’t be easier since physics is also a hard class and sunstantial labs as well.

I agree, you should take the class and the lab at the same time so the subject matter is consistent.
